I bought this machine from John Lewis as an exdisplay for half the rrp (Ј300) it was an absolute bargain. I had the choice of a Meile, Bosch, AEG, John Lewis own brand (same as AEG.... ) and the Panasonic. Money for the machine wasn't an option but the value of thie NA-168VX2 was too good to resist. The 15min quick wash and 1600 spin sold it to me.
Having had a Hoover and Indiset machine in the last 2 years both dying a week after the warranty wore out I am over the moon with the Panasonic. Prior to the throw away machines I have had an AEG for 10 years and a Bosch for 5.
The Panasonic is whisper quiet, fantastic economy and exceptional results. And for a washing machine it doesn't look too horrendous in my kitchen. A 10 tog duvet was washed with out any tears and came out smelling fresh and finger touch dry, more than could be said for my previous Hoover and Indesit. The controls are easy to use, I didn't have a manual supplied with my machine as they couldn't find it however my 10 year old has managed to put his football gear in and get it clean on his own so I have high hopes my husband mayeven be able to do the same! Panasonic may be new to washing machines but they are ones to watch out. If you are hesitant about buying one then don't be I am serriously impressed as are my neighbours no more sarcastic comments about the washing machine taking off on an early morning spin! |
